Routine Check Ups

The preventive care visit is an opportunity to ask questions about overall health, nutrition, development, and behavior.

Immunizations are an essential part of well-child care. We recommend routine childhood vaccines and the annual flu vaccine. Mississippi schools require booster vaccines for kindergarten and seventh grade entry.

We try to schedule check-ups as close to your child's birthday as possible.  Our office is extremely busy in July and August with the rush of kids who need annual physicals or vaccines for the start of school.  We prefer no more than 2 patients from the same family be seen for check-ups at the same time. This is to ensure each patient is given adequate time for the visit.

Sports and Camp Physicals

If you had a physical by us in the past year, our doctors can usually fill out necessary paperwork. If you have not had a routine check-up, one of our providers will be happy to see you for your physical.
